Fresh Fuel’s new Ancoats location required a space that strengthened the brand, elevated the customer journey, and reflected the energy behind the offer. The collaboration set a clear focus on materiality, flow and a visual language that supports future expansion

CONCEPT

The concept draws inspiration from the interaction of water and fuel, a meeting of elements that creates a subtle sheen, a reflective quality, and an industrial edge. This idea is translated into the interior through layered textures, soft surface movement, and controlled contrast. The approach is also influenced by the character of Ancoats itself: a neighbourhood defined by its industrial heritage, canal networks, and raw, urban energy. Industrial tones, textured finishes, and a grounded natural palette combine to create a space that feels honest to Fresh Fuel’s DNA

DESIGN

The bar becomes the anchor of the interior. More than a service counter, it shapes the guest journey from entry through to seating. Integrated lighting, raw plaster walls, and refined brand cues add depth and character, while careful detailing ensures cohesion across all touch-points. The aesthetic balances a warm industrial character with a welcoming, approachable feel.
